Job Id: 1076 # of Openings: 1 Position Summary A Climber uses sophisticated climbing and rigging techniques to cut away dead or excess branches from trees or shrubs to maintain right-of-way for roads, sidewalks, or utilities. This position improves the appearance, health, and value of trees. As a Climber, you will prune/treat trees or shrubs using handsaws, hand pruners, clippers, and power pruners. You will work off the ground in the tree canopy in this position and may use truck-mounted lifts. Duties and Responsibilities Include Essential Duties:

Cuts away dead and excess branches from trees

Clears branches around power lines, using climbing equipment or buckets of extended truck booms

Cables, braces, ties, bolts, stakes, and guides trees and branches to provide support

Cleans, sharpens, and lubricates tools and equipment
