Client accountant

Hire Resolve's client is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Client Accountant to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.
The client operates as a specialist Cell Captive insurance company, specializing in Corporate Risk Finance, Alternative Distribution, and Underwriting Management Agencies sectors. Reporting to the Head of Operational Finance, the Client Accountant will play a pivotal role in accurately processing underwriting results and financial transactions per client, ensuring precise and timely reporting of financial data.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently process underwriting results per client onto the general ledger, covering premium, reinsurance premium, claims, recoveries, commissions, and fees
Manage reserves per client on the general ledger, including outstanding claims, Incurred but Not Reported (IBNR), unearned premium reserve, and corresponding reinsurance portions
Accurately handle income tax per client on the general ledger
