Clerk-Billing/Coder-Centralized Billing-FT-(Days)

Job Title

Applies the appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to individual patient health information for data retrieval, analysis, and claims processing.

Minimum Education

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience

• Two years experience in billing, insurance, office procedures in a medical setting preferred.

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Language Skills:

Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
