Responsibilities
- Perform Housekeeping functions
- Maintain and adhere to the cleaning schedule
- Ensure that offices, boardrooms as well as spaces for general use are cleaned and tidied
- Complete cleaning rosters
- Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors
- Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
- Dust furniture, equipment, and partitions
- Empty bins in the area and take refuse bags to the centralised allocated collection location
- Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture, using a vacuum cleaner
- Wash walls and woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and sills
- Look after the cleaning equipment to make sure it stays in good running order
- Welcome visitors in a professional manner and offer refreshments when appropriate
- Ensure that staff and visitors are well catered for, with timeous serving of refreshments
