Classroom Teacher

Main Purposes of Role

• Planning and preparing courses and lessons in Gradelink according to assigned grade level and topic.
• Teaching to the educational needs of students and establishing an appropriate learning environment.
• Assessing, recording and reporting on development, progress and attainment of students according to policies written in the Staff Handbook and contracts.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare/maintain accurate records in Gradelink (incl. daily attendance, lesson plans, assignments, and grades).
• Submit requested paperwork on time, according to guidelines and dates set by Senior Management Team.
• Promote the general progress and well‑being of individual students and of any class or group of students assigned to them.
