This is more than just a driving role – it’s an opportunity to support a business focused on reducing landfill waste and giving valuable resources a second life through recycling and redistribution.
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will work alongside a dedicated Drivers Mate travelling across the UK, collecting clothing and textile donations from donation banks and returning collections to base for sorting and redistribution.
Duties will include: Driving a modern, well-maintained HGV Class 2 vehicle
Working as part of a two-person team (Driver & Mate)
Emptying textile donation banks across various locations
Loading and unloading bags and bundles of textiles
Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
Maintaining accurate paperwork and records
