Class 1 Driver

About This Role

Are you an experienced Class 1 / HGV / LGV Driver looking for a secure, long-term opportunity within a well-established Truck and Trailer rental business? As a Class 1 Driver with Dawsongroup, you’ll be instrumental in supporting our rental operations, ensuring vehicles are delivered, collected and handled safely, efficiently and professionally.

• Transporting HGVs and trailers between customer sites, company branches and workshops.
• Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT and assisting with fleet transfers as required.
• Carrying out daily walkaround checks and completing accurate defect reports prior to each journey.
• Parking and securing vehicles in accordance with company security procedures.
• Assisting the branch with additional operational tasks, including vehicle check-in/check-out processes, cleaning vehicles to required standards and occasional internal transport requests.
