Class 1 Driver

The Best Connection are currently seeking to recruit HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) drivers to work with our client based in Gateshead. Our client specialises in the distribution and delivery of drinks and beverages to pubs and hospitality venues across the North East.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 driving on designated delivery routes.
• Yard shunting duties moving and positioning trailers safely on-site when required.
• Multi-drop delivery of heavy drinks stock, including beer kegs and barrels.
• Manual handling of heavy items using specialised delivery equipment.
• Customer-facing interaction at busy pub and hospitality locations.
• Representing both our client and The Best Connection.

Experience / Education Requirements

• Valid Cat C+E licence along with up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
