Claims Representative II

Role Summary

The Claims Representative II is responsible for investigating, negotiating and settling complex automobile, property, farm, commercial and environmental claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and interpret coverage, reserve adequately, negotiate and settle complex claims with minimal specialist involvement.
• Embed client engagement philosophies into daily work and implement innovative, client‑centric decision making.
• Work with clients, vendors and government officials to ensure efficiency, timeliness and quality of settlement of the loss.
• Set up and maintain files for assigned claims.
• Provide quality client service to clients in accordance with claims service standards.
• Coach and act as a technical resource for other claims staff.
• Participate in audits and training as required.
• Authorize payments and reserves of up to $200 000 authority.
