Job Description

The Locum Litigation Solicitor will be:* Advising officers and elected members on contentious and regulatory matters* Handling civil and criminal litigation across a broad local government caseload* Advising on planning, licensing, environmental health and housing matters* Representing the council at court, tribunals, inquiries and committees* Drafting complex legal documents, reports and legal implications* Supporting decision making, governance, risk and constitutional matters* Providing legal and procedural advice at meetings a...
