CANDIDATES MUST HAVE FILED FOR EXAM #5047 FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING INTERN OR BE SERVING PERMANENTLY IN THE TITLE OF CIVIL ENGINEERING INTERN TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION

Roadway Repair and Maintenance (RRM) Contract Management team is responsible for managing DOT’s milling contracts. These milling contracts are used to mill the streets prior to paving by RRM’s In-House Crews and are necessary to reach yearly resurfacing targets. This Unit is responsible for the milling contracts from inception through closure. This will involve procuring the contracts, from developing the design specifications and estimates for each contract, to working with DOT’s ACCO in bidding and registering contracts. The Civil Engineer Intern will regularly review and accurately enter field data into the MCMU database, ensure data integrity and accuracy in the MCMU database.
