Tasks

The ideal candidate for this position is a mid-to-senior civil or construction engineer capable of assuming the role of Work Package Leader for various construction projects within the ALBA II program. This program features a 'New Buildings' project, where each work package is dedicated to the construction of an individual building. The Work Package Leader will report directly to the Project Manager, an architect from the ALBA Engineering Division. In this context, the main functions of the successful candidate are outlined below:

Oversee and monitor civil engineering and construction projects from conceptual design through to commissioning, including the supervision of tendering processes when applicable.

Supervise and manage subcontracted companies handling civil engineering and construction tasks.

Develop new technical installations for new beamlines, accelerators, and laboratories.
