Summary This position is located in USDA-NRCS in the State of Utah. The position assists the area/zone or similar engineer and is responsible for providing basic technical guidance and in-the overall planning, design, installation, and maintenance of the engineering phases of soil and water conservation practices. This position is supervised by the State Conservation Engineer, District Conservationist, or Engineer. The duty location for this position is negotiable within the state of Utah. Responsibilities Coordinates and supervises planning, design, and construction of engineering practices including dams, canals, pipelines, water management, irrigation, animal waste management, erosion and flood control, streambank and wetland restoration. Directs the type, scope, and intensity of field investigations and surveys needed for the practice implementation.
