We are seeking an experienced, innovative and highly motivated Paediatric Tracheostomy Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Specialist Children’s Physiologist to lead and develop our specialist tracheostomy service. This is an exciting opportunity to take a pivotal role in delivering expert clinical care, driving service improvement, and shaping the future of tracheostomy management for children and young people at The Royal London Hospital.
As the clinical expert for paediatric tracheostomy care, you will support patients from pre-surgical tracheostomy insertion through to discharge, provide ongoing community support, and organise weaning and decannulation when children are ready. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including ENT, Respiratory/Long Term Ventilation, NICU, PICU, Allied Health Professionals, community nursing teams and external partners to ensure the highest standards of safe, evidence-based care....
