Children's Outreach Worker

We're hiring! Our team at Juniper House is seeking a part-time Children's Outreach Worker to develop and deliver age-appropriate educational programs for children and young adults throughout the tri-county region. If you are passionate about supporting children and youth through education, comfortable facilitating programs for diverse audiences, and committed to promoting healthy, violence-free communities, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in social work, psychology, sociology, education, counselling, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Thorough understanding of violence against women, community resources, legislation, government policies relating to violence against women and children, and the cycle of violence.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills.
