The Chief Engineer serves as the primary technical authority for the Engineering Department, providing strategic leadership, technical oversight, and guidance to ensure the successful execution of flight hardware projects supporting NASA missions. This role drives engineering excellence by developing processes, resolving complex technical challenges, mentoring multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to engineering lifecycle, quality, and safety standards.
