Chief Economic Advisor

Reports to: Senior leadership | Direct reports: 5 Directors | Permanent, full-time

As Head of the Unit, the Chief Economic Adviser is the principal economic voice to senior leadership. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of directorate heads, integrate diverse streams of analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendations, and serve as the institution’s most senior authority on economic strategy, policy, and risk. This is a rare opportunity to shape economic direction from the very top of a complex, fast-moving environment. You will set the analytical agenda, build a culture of rigour and independence, and ensure that on every consequential economic question, leadership is served with a single, coherent, well-reasoned view.
