Chemical Specialist

The Chemical Specialist’s responsibilities include, but not limited to, assisting in product solutions and usage, ensuring the proper use and procedures of detergents and chemicals dispensing equipment, and providing prompt, informed and reliable services to meet the facility’s needs. He/she is responsible for ensuring the water quality is maintained and suitable for the laundry process by conducting regular testing on site and will work closely with the Laundry Management team to ensure detergency and quality is maintained. He / She is responsible for working closely with the detergent supplier and the use of their distribution system within the laundry and guest valet.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance

• Maintains dispensing equipment as well as demonstrates safe equipment use, ensuring that the equipment is fully operational. This follows training from and delegated Scope of Work from detergent suppliers.
