Responsibilities:

  • Plan and analyse recipes to assign prices to menu items.
  • Prepare, cook and present customer order in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain proper consistency in food quality and service.
  • Attend to customer complaints in relation to food.
  • Requisition stock, materials, supplies or equipment to ensure sufficient supply throughout shift.
  • Responsible for stock ordering, keeping and handling.
  • Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment by ensuring that the kitchen is clean, tidy and neat.
  • Daily check of fridges, freezers, storage areas and etc to ensure all are in working condition.
  • Assist in scheduling of staffs’ working hours and days.
  • Responsible in training of new staffs.
