Key Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient handling, transport and storage of explosives and blasting agents.
- Safe and efficient charging and firing of development faces or production stopes.
- Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately
- Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules
- Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture
Requirements
- Development and production charging experience.
- ANFO highly desirable.
- Experience with Normet explosive charging equipment.
- Ensure compliance and implementation of site blasting and evacuation procedures.
- Install and/or removal of mine services and ventilation.
- Valid manual C Class Australian Drivers Licence (Essential).
- Valid Shotfirers Licence, Dangerous Good Security Card and Working at Heights (Essential).
