Chaplain, PRN (as needed) - Chaplaincy Department

Job Summary :

This position is PRN, as needed, hours, shifts and day may vary. Regularly planned shifts will be on Saturdays and Sundays.

To compassionately respond to spiritual and emotional needs of hospital patients, families, staff and the wider community, demonstrating sensitivity to and respect for diversity in religious, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

One Unit of Clinical Pastoral Education is required.

Supports hospital mission and values statement, strategic plan and vision, and philosophy of the Chaplaincy Department.

Understands and embraces a collegial method

Provides pastoral care to patients, families, staff and wider community focusing on the spiritual and emotional needs presented.
