GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Newark Central School District Teacher Assistant will assist teachers in the process of proving instruction. Teacher Assistants will be a resource within the classroom for instructional purposes, including but not limited to differentiated instruction, direct instruction, station work, classroom management, support as outlined in students’ IEPs and general supervision.
JOB DUTIES:
+ Provide instructional services to individual or small groups of students under the direct general supervision of the teacher and/or administrative personnel.
