Job Summary

The Certified Surgical Technologist reports to the Labor/Delivery Clinical manager. The Certified Surgical Technologist is an integral part of the Labor/Delivery team and works under the supervision of the registered nurse and delegator authority of the surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective management of surgical procedures by possessing the expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic technique. Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
