Certified Lifeguard

Assignment:
Flexible scheduling with shifts available weekday afternoons and evenings, and all day Sundays
Summer schedules differ from the regular school-year schedule
3-15 hours per week

Wages:
Starting pay is $ per hour depending on experience and certifications.
Rates for this position can be found in Appendix D.
Not medical or dental benefit eligible.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Perform general lifeguard duties; administer first aid and perform rescue operations as needed.
2. Greet visitors and provide information at pool facilities.
3. Recognize and respond quickly and effectively to all emergency situations and administer first aid as needed.
4. Monitor facility and equipment to ensure safety.
5. Oversee activities within the pool and surrounding areas.
