Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for repairing and maintaining all trailers and related equipment
• Ensure that the equipment is safe and in good working order.
• Perform diagnosis and repairs to a variety of trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance services to trailers.
• Review work orders and discuss work to be performed with the supervisor.
• Use hand tools and various specialized diagnostic equipment to diagnose, isolate and repair faults.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service.
• Advise supervisor on work performed, general trailer condition and future work required.
• Communicate effectively with co‑workers, customers and service managers.
• Read and interpret owner/operator/manufacturer operating manuals and service specifications.
• Keep up-to-date on technology and upgrade skills as required.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
