Cell Phone Technician

The main duty of a cell phone technician is to attend to damaged or faulty phones brought in by customers. Diagnose and repair phones.

• Good oral and written communication skills for dealing with customers and providing high-quality customer service.
• Appropriate exposure to RF amplifier development and experience with power amplifier modules required for amplifier test and characterization.
• Knowledge and experience with soldering equipment used for chip components.
• Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge of operating different types of mobile phones.

• Understanding of mobile data and its components, including GSM/GPRS, 3G.
• Good level of understanding of smartphones would be highly beneficial.
• Excellent knowledge of computer, laptop and tablet operating systems.
