Position Overview

International is seeking a Category Manager – Steering to join our Procurement team!
The Category Manager will lead a Category Management Team (CMT) in partnership with R&D, working cross-functionally across International with program management, quality, manufacturing, risk management, finance, and supply chain. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for Steering commodities, driving cost optimization, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating strategic agreements that support business objectives.
The Category Manager's key responsibilities include leading strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiating supplier contracts, identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities, and managing supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and risk.
