Cash/Payment Posting Specialist (Healthcare) - Work From Home Setup

The Payment Posting Specialist is responsible for managing and posting cash transactions accurately and timely, ensuring proper reconciliation of payments, adjustments, and denials. This role supports the Finance and Revenue Cycle teams by providing reliable reporting, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Screening Criteria

• Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare cash/payment posting experience
• Experience in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management
• Must have stable employment history

Job Description

• Audit and analyze remittance advice to ensure accurate reimbursement and posting
• Accurately post manual and electronic payments, denials, adjustments, and correspondence
• Reconcile remittance postings to daily cash receipts
• Identify and escalated improperly paid, underpaid, or overpaid accounts for review and refund
