Louisville Honda World Job Description     Job Title: Cashier Department: Service Reports To: Service Managers   SUMMARY A Cashier is always polite, flexible and accommodating. The Cashier should be knowledgeable about the company and what it offers to guests. In addition, he or she is familiar with special Dealer events and listens to the requests made by guests, offering solutions or recommendations tailored to their needs.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.   Greets all customers entering the Waiting Lobby area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs/takes them to the appropriate person or location.   Refers customers who have questions about the work performed, additional maintenance or repairs, etc. to the service advisor or other appropriate individual.   Maintains a clean and tidy Customer Lounge, IE: straightens newspapers, magazines and maintains Coffee/Refreshment area and necessary supplies/condiments.
