Cashier

Responsibilities

Bar staff are responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an excellent customer experience in a bar setting. They work closely with customers, take drink orders, mix cocktails, serve beer or wine, and handle cash or card payments. Bar staff must have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality role (preferred).
• Knowledge of mixology and drink recipes.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and inventory.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (e.g., kegs, crates).
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (depending on location).
