Cashier

Responsibilities

• Transaction Processing: Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately while ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers.


• Customer Service: Assist customers with inquiries, provide product information, and resolve payment-related issues promptly and professionally.


• Cash Register Maintenance: Maintain the cash register area, ensure accurate daily balancing of cash, and follow store policies for handling returns or discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in retail or cash handling is a plus.


• Skills: Excellent numerical ability, attention to detail, and basic proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.


• Personal Attributes: Friendly, reliable, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
