Essential Job Functions
Install wooden and metal structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work. Install cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation Add fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures Select lumber and other materials by size and strength to suit each project, sourcing wood and other materials based on provided designs and specifications Calculate the number of fasteners and other hardware required for each project Coordinate with customers, suppliers, project managers, superintendents, and other construction professionals Read blueprints, designs, and specificat...
