Job Description

/Responsibilities

The Utility Driver performs transport duties within the location's yard. Regular tasks may include: shuttling trailers in drive lot as needed, pulling preloaded trailers and replacing with empty trailers for shipping and receiving, keeping lots organized and orderly, performing maintenance and safety checks on vehicles, and filling daily move sheets for managers.

  • Safely operate motor vehicle to transport trailers. Drivers will adhere to speed limits, and use safe driving practices; keep safety top of mind at all times and prevent co-workers from transporting goods unsafely. Report all safety concerns and all accidents and near misses immediately. Participate in safety inspections and accident investigations. Perform maintenance and/or inspection (brakes, lights, on vehicle.
