Job Summary

Performs complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of the Maternal Fetal Medicine physician for diagnosis and treatment of high-risk OB patients. Prepares and directs patients for examinations. Performs OB diagnostic procedures to ensure the delivery of quality care. Participates in quality control procedures. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department. Maintains confidentiality. Performs other duties as assigned. The technologist is to provide very good service; that is to treat every patient with respect, courtesy and explain the exam to the patient. The technologist must be able to work together with others providing a positive work environment.
