Transport and Logistics Manager at Reputable Company

Our company is into Bulk Road Vehicle (BRV) Petroleum Tanker and Tailer operations. We are looking for results-oriented Transport and logistics Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the Transportation Department: Transport and Logistics Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee transportation policies procedure and programs to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations

• Manage and coordinate the transportation department’s daily activities, including scheduling, planning routes, allocating of truck drivers and dispatching of vehicles

• Ensure compliance with all applicable industry regulations related to transportation of goods (including petroleum products), driver qualification, vehicle maintenance and hours of service

• Audit mileage and all fuel purchased

• Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for costing savings
