Trading Standards Investigator

Overview

We are looking for an investigator for our West Midlands local authority client.

Responsibilities

• Work is investigation based and involves investigation report compilation.
• Be thorough and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
• Understand the rules of evidence and apply them to investigations.
• Have experience of statement taking, evidence gathering and related processes.

Qualifications

• Good experience of investigation report compilation.
• Thorough with excellent attention to detail.
• Understanding of the rules of evidence.
• Experience of statement taking and evidence gathering.
• Knowledge of Consumer Protection Regulations and the Fraud Act.
• Role suitable for individuals with a Police, Trading Standards or similar background.
