Role Purpose
Support technology deployment, improvement, and optimization of thermal process for advanced materials and products through engineering and manufacturing in Asia. Develop thermal process engineering capabilities and competence to meeting Corning business growth in Asia. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize thermal processes such as heat treatment, melting, forming, firing, sintering, annealing, tempering, brazing, curing, and stress reliving.Conduct process optimization and improvement experiments and manufacturing studies. Apply statistical analysis with experimental data to pinpoint the process upset and root causes, then provide and implement the solutions.Define process parameters (POR) such as temperature profiles, time cycles, atmospheres, and cooling rates.Conduct process validation, qualification, and capability studies (IQ/OQ/PQ, Cp/Cpk)....
