Description: This position assists the radiologist and other physicians withhigh quality, computerized tomographic and radiographic imagesrequired in part for the diagnosis and treatment of patients while ensuring the least amount of radiation exposure to oneself and thepatient. Provides general care to the patient while in thedepartment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(35%)*Performs computer tomography studies following protocol. Is able to differentiate between normal and abnormal anatomy and will tailorexams in accordance with patient history obtained, protocol, andRadiologist instruction.
(30%)*Administers IV and oral contrast as required for proceduresaccording to protocols. Follows departmental protocol andinstitution guidelines for delivery of IV contrast material. Monitors patients physical and mental condition throughout theentire procedures. Records...
