About the Modernization & Rationalization (MoRa) Team  
Telenet has a large application landscape. Many applications were built for a world that no longer exists. The Modernization and Rationalization (MoRa) team is the answer to modernize what is worth keeping and retire what is not — and we are integrating AI into that work every day. Our team is part of the Software Factory cluster in the Software and Architecture Tribe. MoRa drives Telenet’s transition from legacy on-prem applications to cloud-native architectures by:

  • Supporting teams to adopt cloud-native and scalable architectures.
  • Contributing to Telenet’s software engineering standards and reusable templates, in close cooperation with architecture and platform engineering teams to make these available across Telenet.
  • Providing technical guidance on modernization best practices, while keeping technical debt at sustainable levels.
