System and Network Administrator

Manage and maintain all servers and network devices including troubleshooting hardware and software. Works with all aspects of desktop computers including initial installation and roll-out, repairs, upgrades, and day-to-day user support.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all servers by performing monthly preventative maintenance on both hardware and software sides.
• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis.
• Maintains documentation, performs performance tuning, troubleshoots network problems, escalates issues to vendors, and monitors utilization, throughput, and latency.
• Plans and executes selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defines network policies and procedures; and establishes connections and firewalls.
• Secures network by developing access controls, monitoring, and evaluation procedures.
