Description

The Surgical Technologist-Team Lead is a member of the surgical team who works closely with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist, registered nurse in delivery of patient care pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively. Acts in accordance with the policies, procedures and standards as prescribed by the Governing Board, Hospital Administration and Patient Care Services of Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

Position Requirements

Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Formal course in OR Technology.
  • Certification in Surgical Technology or worked as a Surgical Technologist prior to 2008.
  • Per South Carolina Surgical Technologist Association, one will be Grandfathered if worked as a Surgical Technologist prior to 2008.

    • Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience as a Surgical Technologist. Work in a medical office considered
