Vacancy Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Welder position in Newport News, VA with one of our Clients in the Ship Repair Industry.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of Structural Welding experience
- Must be able to pass the Mig pulse test
- Copper nickel experience
- SMAW, GMAW, FCAW GMAW-P experience
- Must be able to weld in all 3 positions (horizontal, overhead, and vertical)
- Heating-Oxygen/propane heating torch
- Air Carbon Arc Gouging
- Fillet and butt welds
- Can work in confined spaces and heights
Hours:
- 1st Shift-7am-3:30pm
- 2nd Shift-3:30pm-12:00Am
- 3rd Shift- 10:00pm-6:00am
