We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Standardized Patient - Per Diem, Simulation Center - Mineola.

In this role, the successful candidate helps train health care professionals (, medical students, residents, nurses). 
A Standardized Participant (SP) is an individual trained to portray a patient, family member, health care team member, etc. They will be employed for purposes of training and/or assessing health care professionals (, medical students, residents, and nurses).
Selected candidates will be trained to simulate symptoms and illnesses for routine medical examinations, and assess clinical skills of participating health care professionals. During teaching or assessment activities SP's should expect that the learner may interview, counsel and/or physically examine them.
