We are hiring a Sr. Data Engineer to work with RingCentral. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines and SQL queries across Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Snowflake, and other source systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build effective ETL pipelines for large datasets, ensuring data is accurate, up-to-date, and ready for daily reporting.
• Perform comprehensive data validation to ensure all datasets are consistent, accurate, and error‑free before handing them over to analysts for reporting.
• Support the Data Analytics team by writing and tuning complex SQL queries for recurring and ad‑hoc reports using Hadoop (Hive, Impala), Snowflake, and various source systems.
• Manage the full lifecycle of ETL processes, optimizing both new and existing workflows to ensure high query performance and efficiency for critical daily reporting.
