POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sr. Associate I, Accounting & Reporting (Professional Path) is part of Alcon's Finance, Accounting & Audit function, responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The role involves calculating, posting, verifying, and reconciling transactions in line with standards, performing specialized tasks, conducting independent research, and contributing to project goals with advanced accounting skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be responsible for the accounting and reporting of inventory for the commercial entity
• Prepare and post journals on inventory provision and adjustments accurately and within agreed timelines
• Coordinate with the International Center of Excellence (COE) team to understand inventory provision calculations and rationale
• Manage material costing, costing release and investigate any issues on TPC and PPV
