SQM Engineer

Job Description

• Assure best quality of the manufactured products for satisfaction of Continental customers and support the achievement of the revenue target.
• Implement robust process controls in managing suppliers to prevent defects from entering the shopfloor (scrap, NCC, blocked stocks) to achieve the profit target.
• Drive and coordinate with suppliers to analyze material issues and implement preventive actions to reduce or eliminate SCB/cost deductions.
• Support consolidation and coordination of the supplier‑related nonconformance cost (NCC) through SCB process or cost deduction through RMA to support quality strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
• Review past performances and perform risk assessment versus company goals and objectives.
• Define key focus areas, measurables, targets and identify projects that will impact the achievement of SQM KPIs.
