Description Evaluate, direct and provide speech/language pathology service to patients in the home or facility. Participate in the development and periodic review of the Plan of Care (POC). Performs assessments and treats disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing to prevent, identify, evaluate and minimize the effects of such disorders and conditions. Summary & Objective
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible is to provide direct and indirect speech language therapy services primarily on a visiting and intermittent basis in the patient’s home in accordance with the policies and procedures of Catholic Home Health Services of Broward.
