Special Needs Unit Program Assistant

The Portage County Health & Human Services department is currently hiring a part-time Special Needs Unit Program Assistant to support the Special Needs Programs team. Please Note: This position is currently funded for up to 30 hours a week through the end of 2026. Effective January 1, 2027, the position hours will decrease to 22 hours per week, however, will still be eligible for health & dental insurance, vacation and sick leave accrual.



Pay ranges starts at $19.95 / hr



Summary of Position:

This position provides paperwork assistance to the Special Needs Programs Staff, especially in the area of the Birth to Three Program. The position will support the entire Birth to Three Team in being able to be more efficient in their job duties by completing much of the paperwork and organizational tasks so that they are able to serve more families directly.
