Space Systems Electrical System Architect

Responsibilities

• Manage all technical aspects of electrical sub‑systems and equipment including power and data handling.
• Conduct system architecture breakdown, define technical requirements, and maintain requirement specifications for on‑board sub‑systems.
• Define verification and validation strategy, prepare test specifications, and maintain verification control documentation.
• Oversee detailed electrical aspects such as interfaces, harness, power budget, distribution, grounding, and EMC.
• Support Procurement in technical follow‑up of subcontracted equipment development and embedded hardware/software (FPGA, ASIC, SW) and assess technical risks.
• Support the AIT team in defining test systems, preparing integration and test activities, and reviewing test reports, focusing on electrical power, thermal and EMC tests.
