Space Systems Electrical Engineer

Job Description: A vacancy for a Space Systems Electrical Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid (Getafe). The successful applicants will join the Electrical Systems Spain Department (TSEOE7). The Electrical Engineer will contribute to developing electrical and electronic systems and sub‑systems for satellite platforms and payloads, and for applications including Telecommunications (including Active Antennas), Earth Observation, Science and Navigation.

Responsibilities

• Under the coordination of the System Electrical Architect, manage all technical aspects related to (at least) one of the following areas:
  • Active antennas data handling sub‑systems (DHS) and equipment
  • On‑board data handling sub‑systems (DHS) and equipment
• Elaborate and maintain technical requirement specifications for on‑board sub‑systems, equipment or boards (mainly on digital equipment).
